Allows EnOcean energy harvesting switches to be used within an E-Plex system

Introduction

The 815ENO allows EnOcean energy harvesting switches to be used to control an E-Plex system. EnOcean energy harvesting switches are wireless, battery free switches that generate all of the power they require from the motion of the switches as they are pressed. This significantly simplifies switch mounting and wiring. The switches are available in various styles from a number of manufactures. E-Plex 428RSP LED Rocker Switch Panel

Programmable, multi-color LED, rocker switch panel

The E-Plex 428RSP series; a programmable, multi-color LED, rocker switch panel designed to operate within an E-Plex system. This innovative new product incorporates independently controlled LED’s, allowing custom-configured color selection on a per LED basis. Via E-Plex software, each LED is capable of being configured to produce up to 64 unique colors without the need for special ordering or assembly.

The 428RSP utilizes optical interrupters to create a switch output, which means there are no electrical contacts within the switch. The 428RSP provides interchangeable cams, including 1 & 2 position momentary,
2 & 3 position stationary and 2 position momentary / 1 position stationary switches. These cams are designed on a simple snap-in platform that allows for easy and inexpensive assemblies and modifications. In addition, switch banks greater than eight positions can be combined by dovetailing multiple units together.

Resistive touch panel, with LED’s for status indication and an audible alarm for switch input verification or alert conditions

The E-Plex 416TPS series has a resistive touch panel, with LED’s for status indication. The touch panel display also includes an audible alarm for switch input verification or alert conditions.

Customizable artwork is available for button identification. The display’s electroluminescent (EL) backlight allows the entire touch screen to be illuminated uniformly, making them easy to view in various lighting
conditions. The backlight can also be operated in a screen saver mode which will blank it when not in use to extend the life of the EL panel. In addition, the audible alarm can be muted for nighttime operation.

The E-Plex 367TPD series has a resistive touch panel, with LED’s for status indication and a 4-digit, 7-segment numerical LED display allowing valuable information to be viewed. The touch panel display also includes an audible alarm for switch input verification or alert conditions.

Customizable artwork is available for button identification. The display’s electroluminescent (EL) backlight allows the entire touch screen to be illuminated uniformly, making it easy to view in various lighting conditions.

E-Plex 900HMI 10” Touch Screen Module

Touch screen user interface for monitoring and control can also perform logic programming

The E-PLEX 900HMI is a new touch screen module that provides a smart and modern user interface to an E-Plex system. It allows for the monitoring and control of different subsystems all from one location. In addition to the display and control features, the 900HMI module can be used to activate and reprogram modules, and perform logic programming using the E-Logic system. A mounting bracket is provided that can be installed without needing access to the rear of the mounting location. The display can just be snapped
into place and so can easily be removed without tools if required. The only connections required are a DC power supply and the USB connection to the clock. Additional USB ports support connection of a keyboard or USB drives to enable installations or field upgrades. The E-Logic software suite is reinstalled, speeding configuration time to setup a new display.

The 801iPlex provides connectivity between an E-Plex system and iOS devices (Apple iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) via Wi-Fi. It allows bi-directional control and monitoring of an E-Plex system, to deliver a polished user  interface through a familiar device.

Graphical designs are created through CommandFusion; a powerful, free to download software package that blends graphical layout, scripting, and macros. CommandFusion can also be used to control third-party systems. For example you could seamlessly control lighting via E-Plex, and an audio system via a third-party infra-red interface from within the same touchscreen design.
