Cullys have professional & field staff in a range of disciplines, capable of undertaking the most complex of engineering commissions. We undertake a large number of projects concurrently, however once we have committed to a project, we maintain the staff and resources to deliver that project on time and within budget. Tom Cull – Managing Director / Electrician
Tom has 35 years experience in Design, specification, installation and commissioning in the electrical and electronic fields. Manufacturing items such as generating units, desalination units, variable speed controls, sewage treatment plants, process management & monitoring systems and switch boards.
- Electrical installation for Warburton Mission Hospital. The modular system was built in Middle Swan and then transported by truck to Warburton Mission and re-assembled on site. The complex consisted of an outpatient wing, X-Ray facility, surgery, 12 bed dormitory, Doctors residence and a nurses quarters.
- Electrical installation for Warburton Mission, Sewerage treatment facility. Sewer main, automatic transfer pump station, settling ponds.
- Electrical installation & maintenance for Readymix Concrete Batching plants. Numerous plants in the Perth Metro area to Paraburdoo in the North West.
- Fremantle Port – Channel Markers; complete refurbishment of the of the deep water marker buoys, inclusive off the remote GPS positioning, solar lighting and buoy refurbishment.
- Electrical Maintenance of wire knitting and steel working machinery at Boral Steel Osbourne Park.
- Electrical installation for additions to the ABC News & film complex in Adelaide street Perth.
- Electrical installation for Stage 2 Mitchel Freeway bridge construction between the Narrows bridge & Mount St Perth.
- 35 metre Ferries; design, specification, installation and commissioning of the electrical systems on the vessel such as the sewage system, OWS system, engine management systems & vessel control system.
- Electrical installation for Eastern Hills & Wanneroo Senior High Schools.
- Griffon Venture Remediation Project; total upgrade of the Accommodation inclusive of the monitoring of the unmanned machinery space, bridge monitoring systems, lighting & power systems.
Gary Nunan - Northern Territory Manager, Fitter Machinist, Marine Engineer
Gary brings 17 years of experience with him to Cullys in a wide range of industries mainly in the oil and gas production industry, he has also worked in the mining, hydraulic, fishing, and tourism industries, also in various machine-engineering shops.
Gary grew up in the country and has retained his down to earth can do attitude, along with a strong work ethic, he is well travelled is up for a challenge.
As a fully qualified tradesperson, Gary has valuable experience and trade skills only attained through raw saturation to demands and challenges thrown up with new projects.
Gary has come from the shop floor and has worked on most of the oil and gas FPSO, s in the north of Australia; he has also gained global oilfield experience in Europe and Scandinavia.
Gary’s previous role before taking up the Cullys role was senior commissioning mechanical technician aboard Australia’s largest FPSO facility the Woodside/Maersk facility called Ngujima Yin off the coast of Western Australia.
